Small Lime is a puzzle game for kids and adults alike. With Small Lime, players will enjoy a simple, yet challenging array of puzzle match games. The goal is to align colors in a certain way to clear levels, each level features a new type of goal.
At the beginning of the app, you will name your character and proceed to a screen map. Each level is marked by a spot on the map. I thought the artwork in this app was unique, definitely has an anime feel to it, which I thought was neat.
Levels are completed by aligning colors (at least 3 bubbles of the same color) to make them disappear and clear rows. When you complete a level, you will then proceed to the next level on the map. The goals seem easy enough, but can be challenging to actually complete.
Each color will add to your “score” in a different way: blue adds time, yellow adds to your gold count, purple adds experience points, green adds to your power, and red adds to your overall score. As I mentioned, each level has a different objective – for example, in the very first level the goal is to reach 5,000 overall score (red).
I thought that the Small Lime app was an interesting take on a puzzle game. If you are looking for a new puzzle app, I would say check this one out. I would recommend it for elementary school and up.
