Lucky’s Tree of Puzzles is a great educational app for early elementary age children (but includes content suitable for ages 3 through 11 years old).  With Lucky’s Tree of Puzzles, children can learn through playing various interactive educational games.  The app was designed by a Finnish child psychologist and a world class interactive educational game designer, so the content is well curated.

Lucky’s Tree of Puzzles contains 18 different games, as well as a playhouse, a coloring book and several other activities.  The games and activities are designed to help children develop their math and language skills, as well as their attention and problem solving skills.  As I mentioned, the app includes games and activities that are suitable for ages 3 through 11 years old, so children can grow with the app.  The instructions in the games are spoken in English, in addition to being written on the screen, so the game is accessible for both readers and pre-readers.  Some of the games and activities included are: Memory Game, Catch the Nuts, Picture Puzzle, Which Go Together?, Maze, Find the Differences, Learn Emotions, and many more!  As kids play games, they can collect 50 collectable animal cards which are hidden throughout the games, and there are also around 50 achievements to unlock.

As I mentioned, in addition to the 18 games, there is a three dimensional playhouse as well – here kids can play with building blocks and a toy car.  In Coloring Book mode, kids can draw a picture of their own and color it or color a pre-existing picture.  Building block constructions and coloring book pages can be saved to the device’s gallery and then shared with others, too.

I really enjoyed Lucky’s Tree of Puzzles.  I think that this app would be perfect for preschoolers and early elementary age children.  I will definitely be playing this app more with my 4 year old son!
